The Blue Devils scored 38 points against Beachwood on October 17, 2025 and capped off another successful senior night.
Before the game, each senior was honored by being escorted by their parents down the football field. The celebrated football seniors included #55 Alexander Waski, #17 Jamie Panichi, #4 Samuel Bernhardt, #2 Liam Rienerth, and #1 Stephen Mlynarczyk.
Along with the football team, other fall sports were celebrated like cheerleading, cross country, and band. The celebrated cheerleaders included Emily Gibbons, Elyse Grill, Brooke Vollman, Kayla Newcomer, and Lauren Dalrymple. “It felt great to be recognized on senior night for my four years of hard work and dedication to this sport,” Vollman expressed. “Even though I did shed a few tears, the night was great and I was so grateful to have all my friends, family and supporters there to cheer me on,” she added.

The celebrated band members included Nora Olexa, Gabrielle Tokich, Gianna Londrico, Gracie Mindzora, Lindsey Lieu, Matthew Dubitsky, Nathan Lu, and Matilda Averre. “Being recognized was so surreal because I never really put into perspective that I was a senior, and it was our night to be recognized,” Olexa explained. “I was proud but also stunned because this year is flying by,” she added.
Finally, the celebrated runners included Tate McGovern and Gianna Carlucci. “Being a senior sort of feels surreal. It’s hard to comprehend how fast it’s went by and that this is my last year of high school.” Carlucci said.
The boys recorded their second win of the season after demolishing the Bison. During the kickoff the Bison got the ball back and drove down the field to the one yard line. The Devils made a clutch stop and forced a turnover on downs.
Through the rest of the first quarter, it was back and forth. To open the game up for the Devils, Bernhardt picked off a pass which led to Panichi hitting a twenty-eight year field goal to give the boys the first lead of the night.

Finally, the Devils broke the touchdownless streak with a seventy-seven yard touchdown thrown by Bernhardt to Junior Ryan Suhy. Another touchdown came from Junior Maverick Durden when he ran a thirty-five yarder to make the score 17-0. After a Beachwood punt, Bernhardt scored a second time. Instead of passing, it was a fourteen yard rushing touchdown to hurt the Bison’s morale even more. Bernhardt kept his historic night going with a third and final touchdown. A sixty-five yard punt return buried all chances of Beachwood coming back from the Devil onslaught.
To put the nail in the coffin, the coaches decided to put in Waski as a fullback and let him lead the charge into the endzone with a touchdown for the lineman on his Senior Night. After that, the Devils scored 38 points against Beachwood, making the score 38-0, earning the victory on Senior Night.
