“I chose the venus flytrap because of its unique characteristic of being able to eat and digest living creatures like flies,” Snyder described. “I like that the venus flytrap is different than other plants and has an ability like no other plant. The way the flytrap gets its nutrients seems so complex, but it is so simple.”
