What was your position? Captain
What’s your favorite memory from playing your sport in high school? Nothing specific, I just love the team and love cheering with them
What advice would you give to younger players just starting out? Involve yourself in everything, show up, show you care. The upper classman will appreciate this and through showing up I made some of the best friends I could ever ask for!
Who has had the biggest influence on you as an athlete? I would say coach burns. All though he is my throwing coach only. He has shown up for everything. He has pushed me to be the athlete he knows I can be and has pushed me to be a leader. This all shows through cheerleading because I want to be there for my team and push them to be great as well!
How has being an athlete made your high school years different? It has given me a home I know I will always be able to come back to. When I am done with cheer, I still know my team will be there for me always.
Do you have a pregame/pre-performance routine or superstition? Normally just blast music while I’m getting ready and in the car to wake me up. And I will either get an alani or Starbucks as well
